So countdown has begun and hopefully you'll take your board examinations in February..Those who have been toiling and forging from the bud,will certainly reap sweet fruits.But don't be overconfident ..remember- "Trust no future however pleasant...Let the dead past bury its dead...Act Act in the living present,Heart living and God o'erhead".
- Prepare a proper study time table.
- Study for atleast 5 hours per day.Just lock yourself in a room.
- Disdain your friend circle (atleast now!) and switch off your cellphone for 2 months.
- English Language-Take transformation tests everyday and thoroughly practise report writing ,compostions,increase your vocab by learning idioms,phrases and synonyms
- English Literature.Shakespeare's dramas can be well understood through workbooks.Read the dramas and try to solve exercises everyday.English is one among the most important subjects and you can easily score marks if you are well versed with workbook.For poetry,learn beginning lines ,for quoting them in your answer.That shall convince the examiner that you've properly studied and understood the poems.Short stories are easy.But read every chapter twice or thrice as they are written in simple English and there's no need for you to beat your brains to understand them.
- Mathematics :Pay special attention to matrices,determinants, differentiation,Maxima and minima,lines and planes,Inverse trigonometric functions,integral calculus,complex numbers,vectors(sine rule,cosine rule and projection formula).These are important chapters and are usually asked.PRACTISE MATHEMATICS DAILY.THAT WILL BOOST YOUR CONFIDENCE !!!

- Physics-Practise derivations properly.All the derivations should be at your finger tips.Learn the definitions properly.Pay special attention to AC-DC circuits and magnetism. Semiconductors are easy and mere reading of the chapters will suffice.Prepare proper notes from semiconductor section.By heart them as they are totally theoretical.
- Chemistry-Learn all the conversions,named reactions,and definitions.Read all the chapters and prepare notes. Specially from chemical bonding and all the theoretical chapters from organic,inorganic and physical section as maximum "Give reason why...?" sort of questions are asked from the inorganic sections.Numericals from kinetics,equilibrium,relative molecular mass and mole also matter a lot. Just go through them and learn all the reactions.Prepare proper notes.
- Computer Science:Read boolean algebra throroughly.Including Computer hardware.Practise the encoder and decoder diagrams.Including the Gate diagrams.They carry much marks.You should be well versed with Java .Write proper programs which can run properly on the computer.Try to make compact and robust programs.That'll not only help you in your practical examination but also,in your theory paper.Practise atleast one program daily if you are weak in programming.

- Improve your handwriting,if what you write in not legible to the teacher.Remember ,writing creates a good impression.
Its very important for you to go through the PREVIOUS BOARD PAPERS. They will prove to be helpful as the Council repeats some questions every year..
